Creating educational paths for children
and youth in Uganda

Supporting skill development and education

MindLeaps Uganda creates educational paths for vulnerable children and refugees in Uganda through a creative arts program that is built on data-driven metrics.

MindLeaps engages kids in fun dance classes that are part of a carefully crafted curriculum to develop the key cognitive and social-emotional skills vital to success in school and work.

Virtual Academy

Across all of MindLeaps Uganda's program locations, the Virtual Academy brings business entrepreneurship and life skills training on low-bandwidth smart phones to out-of-school and unemployed youth ages 18 -25, many of whom have taken part in MindLeaps' dance programs either as students or trainers. MindLeaps Uganda initiated a Virtual Academy for Girls pilot program, to increase the self-esteem, digital literacy, and business acumen of 40 young women and girls.
